Waiver Scavenger

Since it’s impossible to predict 100% what will happen in a given fantasy football season, it’s also impossible to conduct a pre-season fantasy draft that will reflect 100% of what the upcoming NFL season has in store. What this means is that there will always be a large list of solid fantasy producers who are left on the draft board each year and who will be available on the Waiver Wire.

Don’t overlook the strategy. Player projections can be suspect at best (you can’t totally discount them, however), and sometimes having good football instincts, or maybe the proverbial “ear to the ground” can allow you to pluck the next superstar off the waiver wire.

Keep a close watch early in the season on names you’ve never

Fantasy Football Tips

Grab that rookie….or not….

When drafting for your fantasy football league, the thought always comes up….whether or not to draft that high-ranking rookie. You know the one. The one that has all the potential to be a breakout star.

I’ll give you some food for thought if you’re considering picking one of these “can’t miss kids” up for your team. Hesitate.

Normally the highest draft picks, no matter how good they may have been in college, and no matter how good they may be in the pros, get drafted by the worst teams. That right there is enough for me to balk at selecting them. If it’s a running back you covet, think about whether that team has the offensive lne to open holes for

Wednesday 1 November 2006 @ 8:05 pm

If you bet on sports, or perhaps even if you don’t, you most likely know what a sports handicapping service is. Most people know that they give out sports picks, but what is happing behind the scenes? Are all sports handicapping services the same? Do they really win often? What is inside information? Inside Information

Sports Betting - Bet on Both Sides

Wednesday 1 November 2006 @ 8:02 pm

It seems like a dream or a fantasy. Can you really bet on both sides of a sports contest and come out a winner? How about a big winner? The answer is a surprising yes. It’s something that is not talked about too much, but it exists. This article is going to explain how you can win at sports betting by betting both sides of an NBA game. The concept is very easy to follow and you will be able to go out and use it in just a minute or two from now. Are you ready? Here we go.

Line Movements & the Basics

The concept is based off the fact that the NBA line normally moves up and/or down with each NBA game. For example, a team might open as a 2 point favorite and close as a 2 point favorite, but during the day, the team might have been up to a 5 point favorite.

Wednesday 1 November 2006 @ 7:10 pm

The gambling world is full of people who just throw down hard earned money without thinking about what they are doing. Are you one of those people who will just go with the flow? If so, you are most likely a losing gambler or you are not winning as much money as you could be. Bad Folds in Poker

Wednesday 1 November 2006 @ 7:04 pm

Many experienced players have learned how to play well in pre-flop. They know exactly when to call, raise, or fold. Surprisingly, these same players make horrible decisions post-flop, especially when they are playing in low-limit hold?em games. Their problem is not because they call down too often, but because they fold when they should not. These players probably believed that they should be playing a smart tight-aggressive play. And this is why they fold most of the time unless they are holding a very strong hand or have a good draw. But what actually happens is that they forget

Benefits Of Customized Golf Clubs

Sunday 15 October 2006 @ 9:33 am

There are an infinite number of excuses in golf for hitting a bad shot, but few sound more irrational than blaming your clubs. But in some cases, blaming a bad shot on your clubs may not be ridiculous at all. Having your clubs fitted specifically for your own swing can have a massive impact on your game. If your clubs aren’t fitted to your personal specifications, you could well be sacrificing critical elements of your swing to make up for it.

For an example of how big a part clubs play in your game, just take a look back at Phil Mickelson’s Continue Reading »
